And I’d really love if there was an actual, in depth investigation when three women come forward with credible claims of sexual harassment against a nominee for The Supreme Court.
And I’d be way happier if the GOP House and Senate actually did their job and held the president to account for his lawlessness, corruption and straight up hatred.
And wouldn’t it be great if when African Americans peacefully protested against violence and asked for accountability, they weren’t vilified.
And oh gosh, I’d be beside myself if the GOP would stop using bogus claims of voter fraud trying to keep eligible voters from being able to cast their votes.
Not to mention, if the GOP would stop blaming immigrants for crime and unemployment when every statistical measure shows that they commit less crime than citizens and actually grow the economy.
And god, I’d have hope for humanity if Republican leaders actually objected to the Trump administration deliberately terrorizing children and their parents and destroying their families for having the temerity to legally ask to find refuge in the United States.
And imagine my gratitude if the GOP, instead of gutting environmental regulations in order to boost corporate profits by a couple of percentage points, actually tried to avert the destruction of the ecosystem that supports all human life on earth.
Make no mistake, violence, threats and intimidation are NEVER ACCEPTABLE.
