This is what a changing world order looks like, on the ground. It's not a gentle transition, it's a series of earthquakes. This doesn't only apply for the rise of authoritarian populism in the West, it also applies to the hysteria of dictatorship in the Arab world.
Forget Iran, forget the MB, forget ISIS - the single greatest fear of Arab dictators is Arab Spring 2.0. It's what keeps them up at night. It's what drives their paranoia and their psychoses. They live in fear of accountability. Their dream is eternal tyranny in the Arab world.
For all their hubris, their repression, their police states and their billions of dollars, the dictators are *terrified*. They know well how they've crushed us and robbed us blind. They live in mortal fear of the day we get to stand upright and look them in the eye.
Count the days, count the years, count the decades. Sooner or later, your day of reckoning will arrive. History is in good hands.
