I'd just like to make this tweet so I can pin it & so people get a better understanding of me. I have Aspergers, I am classed as being very dependant, even though I live on my own. I have little understanding of sometimes very "simple" social interactions.
I try very hard to make friendships.. but I find it really difficult because any conversation is really draining on me and takes up most of my energy because even the smallest of misunderstandings can be physically painful for me.
Sometimes I say things that are viewed as offensive, I really don't mean them to be.. please don't think I'm doing it on purpose, it is an accident, although It's not an excuse, I ask if people could please just tell me that I said something rude and I will apologize.
Please do not randomly block me, i take mutual ties really seriously because I don't have very many online and real life friends so it hurts me, it was recommended by my occupational therapist to tell people this so I can learn from my mistakes.
I want to have more friends.. I've always wanted to have more but I find it so hard to keep them.. I'm diagnosed on the side with OCD, GAD and Agoraphobia so I get very self conscious and I am hyper aware of how other people view me, I really try to be the nicest person I can be.
I hope this just makes people understand that I get confused sometimes and I would like to learn, please allow me to learn by telling me where I went wrong, and maybe also what I should have said instead.
