LAW 45: Preach the need for change, but never reform too much at once.

People are creatures of habit afraid of uncertainty, lazy in learning new things. They'll turn on you if you try to change too much.

You win by building habits to combat inertia and learning to take risks.
1. If you have the courage, it's easy to unsettle the crowd. The difficulty is in giving it direction afterwards.
The lo-awarenes mass easily settles for mediocrity and the illusion of safety, but it can just as easily run off a cliff.
2, When you measure up a person's character, always pay attention how people behave when they encounter the unsettling and the unexpected.

Run away fast and far from people who lose their mind at the slightest obstacle or innovation. They cannot be helped.
When judging character, watch for what happens when a person enters.

- Do people get unsettled and chaotic?
- Does the person bring a sense of power and direction?

You can learn a lot about people from how others react to them.
3. Learn from a young age to disrupt yourself and try new things.

If you're not growing, you're dying.

This is a law of nature that allows no exception.
4. Practice blood in the game to get used to risk and pain. Grit and fearlessness will serve you always.

5. Be mindful of complacency and illusions of safety.
6. Friends don't let friends fall back on old habits or put them at ease when they need to improve.

Keep away from people who give you a false sense of security, even if they are family. You aren't doing anyone any favors.
7. Surround yourself with people who always challenge you to better yourself and feed your momentum to do so.
The daily newsletter in your inbox helps you push yourself forward every day.

You still have to do the work.

It's not for people looking for comfort and a pat on the back.
