Lots of problems still coming out of Texas. This is our third intervention there in the last week. Just this afternoon we sent this letter to the Clerk of McLennan County & the Chair of the local Republican Party regarding reports of an unfit Election Judge.
Yesterday we sent a letter to the Secretary of State along with the @TexasNAACP demanding that a team of emergency examiners investigate voting machines in counties where there have been credible reports of machines flipping votes.
And last week sued Waller County, TX officials on behalf of African American students at Prairie View A&M for discrimination in early voting access.
Waller has provided some addl early voting access in Prairie View in response to our suit. But today the TX Secy of State asked the Waller County Judge to extend early voting to Thursday and Friday in Prairie View. Still no answer.
