Note that the Electoral Commission only opened its investigation into 'Better for the Country'- Arron Banks' outfit - after @GoodLawProject issued judicial review proceedings against it concerning decision to close its investigation into Vote Leave on 24 October 17 1/
In that claim @GoodLawProject noted the failure of the Electoral Commission to make the relevant connections - see image.

And this evening I see that the producer of Brexit the Movie, David Shiply has been charged with £500,000 fraud: theguardian.com/politics/2018/…
Better for the Country (Banks) funded this movie too: see image in previous tweet from the @GoodLawProject grounds of claim.
That raises the question as to whether Better for the Country should have registered as a permitted participant since it seems to have directly funded the making of a movie (made by Martin Durkin/Wagg tv (renowned for the misleading 'great global warming swindle')...
And then by chance this evening I was looking at this (see image). At the bottom you'll see that Better for the Country (Banks) paid for this Leave. EU ads and.. Were they even separate entities. In which case how much was the unlawful overspend by Leave .EU? Potentially millions
Sorry not a good image - see this version at the end. Leave. EU was allowed to spend £700k. If Better for the Country was paying for their advertising then either BfC should have been registered as a PP (ie restricted to £700k) or it had to be within Leave EU's spending limit.
