Gunna start a twitter thread with random observations from watching China VODs:
Guxue:

First thing I'm noticing is he's actually more charge-happy than I expected, but he is creative in which pins he's actually going for. I don't always catch why he's charging or what opportunity he saw on the first viewing.
Leave:

I'm starting to think he's actually the true carry of this team, he has great positioning at all times, and extremely good bubble usage. He's saved teammates and team fights multiples times through amazing patience and prediction.
Shy:

Certainly on the aggressive side for a Brigitte player which is not something I normally like, but he's making it work. Abusable, but doing a good job of being aware of his counterpart and when he can exploit them.

Consistently working with Lucio speed to capitalize.
Yveltal:

So far some of the best uses of amped speed that I've seen from a Lucio player in a while. Is doing a great job of assisting his Ana rotate and survive when playing dive, and helping execute plays faster than expected with. Opposite of Shy in terms of aggression.
Guxue and Shy:

Both seem to have a tendency to go on little micro flanks around small structures such as the central pillar on Lijiang Gardens of the thin curved walls on Lijiang Control Center. Faking pressure on one side, using speed to attack into a flank.
Leave:

Very confident with his graviton usage, and so far he's used it in three different ways, but the common theme between them so far is that he's using them very proactively. Does not wait to try to find the perfect bomb. Not all bombs used to combo, prefers combo with dva.
China:

They ARE scouting early and skirmishing, but so far haven't looked to counter or adjust theirs composition of plans in any really noticeable way. In the current meta this is both really important and surprising it's not happening.

Need to pay more attention to this one.
Tanks:

Leave's confidence is certainly not limited to his Zarya play, and Guxue's Hammond leaves a lot to be desired in how it's being utilized with the rest of the team so far. They're using him purely as a disruptor so far.
Supports:

Sky and Yveltal are sticking together very closely regardless of the supports they are actually playing. This might make it hard to dive/kill, but makes it easier to isolate, and tanks more vulnerable under certain circumstances. Prioritizing survivability over impact.
Shy:

Not only is he aggressive, but he's also greedy. Good scouting, but even when he's not under any time pressure he's making suboptimal decisions. As a team, they're also playing the meta regarding Ana and Zen differently than I understand it or believe it to be strong.......
Okay Yveltal is actually nuts, who tf is this guy???
Guxue's Reinhardt is okay so far but nothing to write home about, and LateYoung hasn't really stuck out to me at all so I'm going to have to pay attention to him a lot more to see what he's actually trying to accomplish because it escapes me so far.
Seeing more scouting leading to changes in playstyle, but not changes in compositions. LateYoung looks to be using Dva's falloff range a little bit more than others and staying to a more neutral stance. Not passive per so, but more
occupying space/corners.
Okay phone died so F to the completion of this thread but hey time for bed have a few hours in the morning to figure everything out then we go for it. Very doable.
