Fake news campaign conducted by Ecuador to try and pacify its population into accepting his extradition to US by falsely claiming money spent spying on him was to protect him, has lots of rooms, own bathroom, etc. All false.

Rooms 4 and 5 literally belong to the Colombian embassy.
