Friends, i need to explain something to you all. Its time for someone to shed light on what dems do to try and neutralize people. Dems will accuse us of something, so they can get us to become dormant. They want us neutralized. They want us on defense!

Kirsten made this statement to get White men to stand down from being leaders. They want us to go out of our way to become wimps. When they make statements like this, they expect White Men to go out of their way to prove they are not violent. Most of us are not. Who cares!
The liberal media uses false accusation to keep on the defense at all times. When you have done no wrong, you have nothing to defend. When they make a lying statement like this,the answer is not to defend yourself. Its to stand firm and keep moving forward.We need not be ashamed!

There are people on here trying to control everyone. They want to control whether you even argue with someone or not. They say you are fake MAGA if you argue with other MAGA people. Even friends argue now and then. Do they not stay friends? If people want to argue, so be it!
We are not always going to agree on everything.We are not always going to like everything. We are sometimes going to argue over things. Its not big deal. But to accuse someone of being fake MAGA because they argue with you,is immature and divisive. Its another way of controlling!
Be careful of people who try to control what you talk about on here. Notice how they try to keep you from really speaking what you believe. They threaten to bran you as fake MAGA as soon as you step out of line. True patriots are not dictators, but free speech advocates.

It’s really hard to focus on infosec, or pretty much anything else during the #KavanaughHearings
I need to explain something important that’s not infosec related.

I can remember just about every time in my life a guy has walked up and slapped my ass, groped my crotch or chest. I remember how my clothes felt. The anger and shame. I can’t tell you what stupid event I was at.
That moment in time, though? It’s crystal clear. A decade or more later. Like all my senses were turned up to 11 and it’s engraved on my brain.

WE DID IT!! We got to the goal of our fundraiser for JP and Jackie! Thank you SO much for your generosity!

And just in time! We've been collecting donations of furniture, toiletries & pantry items from my local community, and they sign a lease tomorrow. Pics of that to come. Toiletries for JP and JackieTable for JP and JackieMore housing stuffTable and chairs
I know the many systemic issues that cause people to fall into and stay into poverty are addressed with this, and that there are so many other people that need work and care--and that we need to create better *systems* to support that. But changing two lives is still incredible.
Thanks to your help, we've given JP and Jackie a shot that most people don't have--a chance to get stable and *stay stable*. Through our local network we've gotten Jackie an interview for very part-time work, so hopefully that will help too, & we can get them both employed soon.

It really astounds me how many people think, "it couldn't possibly be ADHD, I can focus when I'm interested"

like hi you are literally describing hyperfocus which is common in both ADHD and Autism.

I just wish we had less stigma, more sharing important information.
Seriously one of the ways I bond with other neurodivergent people (especially Autistic and ADHD people) is to make jokes about how weird and sometimes wonderful hyperfocus is

it's a mental minefield of "I did all the things! But nothing on my to do list. Again. Whoops"
Knowing about hyperfocus in our ableist society is also really important

Because I think we all internalize that maybe we're just "making up our disabilities" or "it's not THAT hard to focus"

But then we end up beating ourselves up for variable attention and disability
