1. Building your Self Esteem. This subject is foundational to our capacity to fulfil God's destiny for our lives #SelfEsteem
2. The story in Numbers 13 :33 is one of the most remarkable examples in the scriptures of how the way we see ourselves can affect our decisions and actions. The way we see ourselves, can have a phenomenal impact on our capacity to be effective in this life. #SelfEsteem
3. Self esteem is how you feel about yourself, borne out of your opinion of yourself. It’s a product of your self image. The word image appeared in the biblical account of the creation of man. (Genesis 1:26-27) #SelfEsteem
4. Your capacity for dominion is tied to visuals. The most critical is the image you have of yourself. The Bible says “let us make man in our own image and God created man in His own image” Be careful who or what shapes that image. #SelfEsteem
5. The image you have of yourself controls your life to a large extent. You are not likely to attempt anything beyond the capacity of that person that you see on the inside. #SelfEsteem
6. Self-Image is very, very important and you've got to be careful who shapes that image because once it is shaped, it is affects every area of your life. #SelfEsteem
7. The image can be shaped by others. People will give you abundance of their opinions of you, but they were not there when your destiny was designed. Be sensitive to know when they are speaking by divine inspiration. #SelfEsteem
8. Any destruction or reduction of your self-image and subsequently your self-esteem strikes at the heart of the core of your person and it has the capacity to make you dysfunctional. #SelfEsteem
9. The reduction in the size or the capacity of that person on the inside will lead to a reduction in the total capacity to be effective as a human being. #SelfEsteem
10. Satan said to Eve that when they eat the fruit their eyes will open and they will be like God. Who were they like in the 1st place ? He was changing the image that God gave them, remember God had said let us make man in our own image. #SelfEsteem
11. Whoever is shaping your self-image is getting at your destiny & future. Who is shaping your self-image? Asides God, we know Satan is interested in your self-image & we need to be very sensitive to the information that comes to us. Not every information is from God #SelfEsteem
12. The big question then is what is the capacity of the person that is looking at you and describing you to you ? #SelfEsteem
13. If there’s a crack in the mirror, the image of you that will come from the mirror will be broken many of us are getting information from broken sources. Some of us have been listening to the wrong people, we have been defining ourselves by broken mirrors. #SelfEsteem
14. The image can be shaped by circumstances. You are not what you have done or what has happened to you. There is a difference between failure as a person and failure as an event. #SelfEsteem
15. Satan leverages our circumstances to attack our self-image. For some people, it's a physical disability, the shape of the body, it may be the absence of a part of the body. However, the true value of a human being is not in the physical body, it is in the spirit. #SelfEsteem
16. The image can be shaped by you. Even you are incompetent to design the glorious destiny God has for you. #SelfEsteem
17. I am saying to you, there is the potential for you to discover who you are, to discover your identity and it can only come by revelation. #SelfEsteem
18. People wanted to fit Jesus into existing molds, but there had never been a Messiah before. Same with you. You are unique. #SelfEsteem
19. The image can be shaped by God. (Matthew 16:13-17) Build your self image with revelation! (Numbers 13:30) You get revelation by praying, meditating, listening to inspired people. #SelfEsteem
20. The truest things you will ever know about you are the things God told you. Defy your circumstances. Believe God. Your outer reality must catch up with your inner reality. Walk in dominion. #SelfEsteem
