1. Gratitude is function of focus and it depends on who or what you are looking at. When we focus on the situation, we may not feel grateful but when we focus on God, the situation pales in significance. (Heb. 3:17-19) #Gratitude
2. Satan always tries to use what is not working to define us by shifting our focus off all that is working. #Gratitude
3. We must learn to thank God no matter what happens. Thanksgiving ensures that we stay in the centre of God’s will. (1st Thess. 5:18) #Gratitude
4. You cannot miss it while giving thanks. If you are unsure of what to do or how to pray, give thanks. It is not every prayer that God answers, giving thanks in prayer is guaranteed to keep you in God’s will. #Gratitude
5. We must remember that God does not change, our circumstances can change. If we thank God in good times then we must thank God in ‘’bad times’’. #Gratitude
6. Gratitude in tough times is an expression of faith and trust in God. It is proof that you can see beyond the natural. #Gratitude
7. Giving thanks when things seem not to be working is evidence of faith. Satan is a master at magnifying our circumstances to get us in complaining mode. Complaining is not faith rather it is prayer since it is directed at God. (1st Corinthians 10:10-11) #Gratitude
8. Satan leverages on circumstances to get us off Gods frequency which is faith. You have to actively resist the devil, the real fight is the fight of faith. #Gratitude
9. It is predicted in the scriptures that the level of ingratitude will go up in the end times, people are going to be unthankful. (2nd Tim 3:1-2) #Gratitude
10. The kingdom of God is not meat and drink but righteousness, peace and joy. The harsher it is, the happier we are, and our source of Joy is God. #Gratitude
11. Christ confronted negative circumstances and lack with thanksgiving. Like the prophet in Habakkuk 3, gratitude is a choice not a gift. Joy creates an atmosphere for God to work. #Gratitude
12. In John 6:11, Jesus fed the crowd and there was more than enough to go round. Jesus confronted death with thanksgiving. (John 11:41) #Gratitude
13. Don’t focus on what is happening, focus on what God said. ( Rom 4:18-21) #Gratitude
14. Gratitude is a choice and Joy is one of the things that make the life of a Christian attractive. Our joy springs from the inside. (John 7:37-38) #Gratitude
15. Express your gratitude to God right now. I declare for you in Jesus name this shall be your season of fulfillment. #Gratitude
