Judge ended with a warning to prosecutors: "Based on the results of these cases, however, should complex, or even simple, cases arise in the future, the Court would not expect similar misunderstandings to occur"
This is basically the outcome federal prosecutors in DC wanted — they were worried about a record being out there that suggested (directly or indirectly) that they lied or intentionally mispresented info to a judge
This doesn't change anything in terms of substance — the judge's finding that the government failed to turn over info that should have disclosed to the defense stands, and, of course, all the dropped prosecutions remain dropped
