I am horrified. The Correspondent abruptly deleted all of my articles.

This includes my very well-known and influential article "We're heading into dark times: This is how to be your own light in the age of Trump."

All of my work, erased, with no resson or warning.
The Correspondent also deleted all of my 2016 ground-breaking reporting on Trump and Russia. These articles were in many cases the first time aspects of that story were reported.

These articles were heavily cited and were on college syllabi.
Here is a partial list of all the work The Correspondent deleted. These articles took months of research. The article on a murdered Ferguson activist? Gone. The 2017 article warning of voter suppression in the midterms? Gone.

Years of my work gone. What a nightmare.
"We're heading into dark times" was the most popular essay I ever wrote and likely the most popular on The Correspondent. It was translated into multiple languages, inspired activists, was downloaded millions of times. If it meant something to you too, I'm sorry. They killed it.
I don't know why @decorrespondent would do such an unbelievably horrible thing to me, but it's not completely surprising. They had a change in editorial control last year, stopped paying me money they owe, fired my editor, and the new editor subjected me to misogynist abuse.
Prior to subjecting me to this abuse, The Correspondent traded on my name and popularity to fundraise for their American launch. Here's a booklet they sent out with my name in it to woo advertisers.

Then when their US management took over, I was treated horribly, as were others.
It is indefensible that The Correspondent deleted all of my work without allowing me the opportunity to preserve it. You not only robbed me of my work, you screwed over everyone who linked to it or assigned it. Horrible behavior, @decorrespondent and @jayrosen_nyu.
I would like my articles back online. They should be at their old URLs so people can read them, but if not I would like someone else to republish them, or to do myself.

If you would also like my articles back online, please tell @decorrespondent and @jayrosen_nyu.
The Correspondent has now restored my articles. I appreciate everyone who contacted them and spoke out in my behalf, and I appreciate the relatively quick response from The Correspondent.
As to a few questions:

1) Yes, I have copies of my work as word docs. This doesn't help dead links.

2) I have tried to contact The Correspondent many times over the past year because they owe me hundreds of dollars. They don't respond and they fired the editor who did respond.
I saw that some of you subscribed or donated to The Correspondent under the assumption that I work there or that the work they will publish will be like what I did.

This is not the case, so please do not donate or subscribe under that impression.
After I make some back-up PDFs in case this happens again, I'm going to bed. Thank you again to everyone who helped out or offered assistance; I'm extremely grateful. And again, thank you to the Correspondent editors for responding to me this time around.
