We have Egbin, omotosho power plants in the southwest, 24hrs power generation would have been history in the South west since the 80s. The south south has gas reserves, power plants in sapele, omoku, Ibom, south east - alaoji, ughelli and several others.
How can a town in Ondo generate power, send it to a national grid & the same community that generates this power is in total darkness. I farm at my backyard, harvest my produce take it to the market square for distribution, then call on my kids to go there and struggle for food.
Let the FG handle defense, judiciary, National security and intelligence, Tertiary education, social security and Medicaid. This current system cannot produce fantastic results we can only strive to progress at a slow pace.
Nigerian Youths must quickly position for seats at the National Assembly and change this awkward system else the future is in jeopardy. It must not be a retirement home for governors after 8 years..It must be a place for critical thinking and not petty politics..
$1.5bn is a local hunter and vigilante budget in this era of global terrorism. Let the FG hands-off roads, power, housing, solid minerals, ports, agric . Cede it to regions and collect taxes. Let them channel more resources to defense, judiciary, tertiary education and health 
There is nothing to be afraid of any more. We either sink or swim. We must ensure that the constitution is changed to dissolve power to regions. Ministry of Agric is in Abuja, how will they efficiently help a farmer in Pategi or Ikot ekpene.
