So goes the stupid hash war. Bcashers got tired of reality, I guess. Now they want to hide behind centralization and lies again.

The same people that didn't understand why bcash would fail in the first place, couldn't understand the arguments involved this time either.

A real "dApp" is a very rare thing. So rare they can easily have their own names, like Bitcoin and Lightning Network.
As a idea, apps that label themselves dapps, is pretty funny.
Mainly, they call themselves dapps to excuse their lack of users and to confuse their investors. There are no dapps on ethereum, except maybe the erc20 contract itself I guess.

How many holders of last resort do they have?
Altcoins have built their networks on marketing and false narratives. Reinflating an altcoin bubble is without deliverables is going to be impossible.
Bitcoin delivers its value prop everyday. It delivers more valuable innovation all the time. It's network effects will continue expanding, while altcoins' will shrink to nothing.

The term "cryptoassets" (conveniently the title of Chris's book) is hugely detrimental to investors' understanding of digital scarcity and sustainable comp advs in this tech.

The term scam, however, is *under used*. Ripple is the #2 coin by market cap for God's sake.

The entire altcoin complex would benefit if people were less forgiving of the 99% that are outright scams.

Of course, the line we are told to toe (by scammers) is to ignore the scams, be nicer, let the scams run their courses naturally. Lol
It feels very similar to the coinbase "education" initiative, that just fills your head with buzzwords like blockchain and cryptoassets, then they try to sell you their scams coins, that have no competitive ad except for pumpers and shills.

In a neighbourhood a drain was getting choked so a sweeper was called to clean the drain.

Public asked sweeper how much time will he take to clean the drain.

Sweeper said 5 hours.

OK do it.

Sweeper went inside drain duct & started cleaning.
When 5 hours were about to complete, public from top asked, is it about to complete ?

Sweeper said no I have not even been able to do half as yet.

So the argument started.
Sweeper then asked public since when this drain is & when was it last cleaned ?

70 years & no idea when it was last cleaned.

Sweeper then told public - You allowed the drain to get choked for 70 years & did not bother to clean.

What are we thinking?

How much of America is now owned by our adversaries b/c of someone you or I voted into office? We wring our hands while our govt allows American land to be sold to some of the same people who kill our son's an daughters in war or plot terrorism here.
Now we're dependent on Google, the same company who's willing to build communist China their own internet. How can we trust a company who is willing to do that who also possesses so much of America's information? Think about how much of our infrastructure is now tied to Google?

Starting on the show from the 10th. It begins with an "Op ed" from the NYT. I found no other copy online. HInt: this isn't about the piece, it's about a "go signal" in an effort to muddy the elections in favor of the Dems. Expect more, much more over the next couple of months.
Props for trying though... Notice how quickly it died. "These people are stupid!"
Turns out the piece is 100% plagiarized from a college kid's submitted essay. If you haven't read it yet, I highly encourage you to pull up that BuzzFeed article... it's a satirical take on the op-ed.

Totally bizarre strong arm robbery. My call. I speak with the victim. Description is guy in all black. My height. Quick canvas around the block & other officer sees a guy like that. And so here’s what we did. We walk up and he doesn’t run: that’s a good sign...
And then (cuz I hate when cops try to be coy or beat around the bush) I say ‘hey man. A woman got jacked over there. She’s ok but the guy was wearing all black. Now you & I know that means like a hundred people in the area, but that’s the reason we are talking.’ He was super cool

Ok, I want to build a simple product this week and launch it. I am thinking of a bot that pushes a commit to a stupid repository on GitHub everyday in order to make it green in the span of a year.
I have to find out first if it is possible to create through official APIs and whatnot. Let's see...
Ok so I had a look, it can be done. You can create a repo and create a commit programmatically through the official API. So far so good.
