i wish i was the kind of person who could slowly build up a body of research but everything i've ever written down that i learned is strewn around in a billion files i will never find again
a year ago i learned what the lens mounts on commercial camcorders are called and some details about the weird complexities of the standards and it's all gone. i rediscovered it by chance but like fuck all the material i had - it's totally gone
i had like 20-30 PDFs with different camera manuals that were full of great info. i have no idea where tehy are now or what they're called or what i found in each one.
being me is like... any time you find something interesting you rush to put it into use before you lose it
