NEW: @WSJ has seen the classified CIA assessment on Jamal Khashoggi. Saudi Crown Prince MBS sent at least 11 messages to his closest adviser [Saud al-Qahtani], who oversaw the kill team, in the hours before & after the journalist’s death in OCT.

According to the CIA, the electronic messages sent by Prince MBS were to Saud al-Qahtani, who supervised the 15-man team that killed Khashoggi and who, during the same period, was in direct communication with the kill team’s leader in Istanbul.

In AUG 2017, Prince MBS told associates that if his efforts to persuade Khashoggi to return to KSA were unsuccessful, “we could lure him outside of Saudi Arabia and make arrangements” – a statement the CIA say “seems to foreshadow the Saudi operation launched against Khashoggi.”

At the start of this story I wrote that I was SURE #Khashoggi had been told “by someone he trusted״ that it was safe to go to the Istanbul consulate. That he was observant & no fool.
Khalid told Khashoggi, a contributing columnist to The Washington Post, that he should go to the Saudi consulate in Istanbul to retrieve the documents and gave him assurances that it would be safe to do so."

Why Crown Prince Bin Salman ever let Prince Dopey and his faction walk at the height of the coup which put him (Bin Salman) in power is baffling.

Think about all attacks past 18 months Dopey’s been tied to.
This whole thing is a calculated, well thought out, well executed set-up. The end goal is to force @realDonaldTrump to denounce Crown Prince Bin Salman (a reformist), which opens the door for Dopey and his faction to depose Bin Salman and regain power for old guard.
If this were to happen, Saudi Arabia would fall back into the hands of the old guard which carried out 9/11 with Mossad, MI6 and U.S. intel operatives aligned to HW/Cheney old guard (their “inner circle”).
