Kept an eye on preseason games & formulated what I thought was a solid strategy based on players form from last season (BIG mistake)

Decent start with 68 pts

#GW2 to #GW8 “Abandoned Strategy”

The World Cup with late returns, lack of fitness, PL team selection chaos played havoc on my #FPL team.

Time for a re-think & major surgery.

I took 2 hits to steady the ship while planning a new strategy.

Played my WC

I had Salah since GW1 but he was not returning & everyone was on the #Hazard bandwagon so made the switch BUT only as a 1 week temporary measure. Planned to bring him back for CAR game.

Brought #Salah back as © (30 pts). Only 6 pts from my FOR line but my DEF & MID came up trumps, 81 pts for the GW.

Mood was lifting, time to concentrate, read the form, pick the fixtures & spend time on 👮‍♂️ picks.

#GW11 “Form over fixtures”

Sometimes Form & Fixtures can prove to be a double whammy.

SOU were not in good shape, visiting the Etihad so only one © in the equation, Aguero (26 pts)

FUL visited Anfield, enough said. Salah (16 pts)

A difficult week for the © pick, all the suspects were playing away but looking at previous history I sensed City would get a good result at the Hammers. Aguero’s away Form was poor so Sterling it is (32 pts)

Initially had #Richarlison as © but bottled it, choose Salah (8pts instead of 20).

Missed opportunity, could have climbed higher😡

Felt Anderson was starting to show Form, wanted him but had Sterling, Salah, Richarlison & Billing (Bench Fodder) I had to reluctantly say 👋 to Fraser (might be back with next plan).

Fraser bagged 12 🆚 2 for Anderson. Keep calm, there is a plan.

#FPLbandwagons can be good #Doherty #Richarlison #Jimenez

But bandwagons can be bad #Kane #Auba (in any one GW) but if part of a new plan then a one week hit is part of the game. Keep your plan intact.

#GW17 Part 1: “The ITB Factor”

Wilson & Kun (inj) meant I could be badly disadvantaged.

With 0 ITB offloading Wilson would make it difficult to bring him back. Remaining stubborn on Kun, he is now a differential.
Hold firm I thought, then the TAA news sealed my move.

Dealing with a 1st in 10 yrs of #FPL ie potentially not using a FT😱Luckily TAA forced my hand but I didn’t think it through properly.

A week dominated by #MUFC , @FPL_Partridge ‘s xlnt video👋 , return of OGS, & the reemergence of Utd assets.

Having the team name 20LEgend since day1 of #FPL it’s ironic that Ole could pose me problems with my forward planning.

RPPM stat said dump Alonso, Raz & Kun but plan (Mo, 3-5-2, doubleDEF LIV) says keep Kun. So other 2 under?

Pre season ⚽️ = 💯 K by GW19 & all 🍟 intact for an attack on 10k.

Despite 2 poor GWs spirits still high.

Would return in 3 from 4 GWs b4 but now it’s 1 from 4!!!

This inconsistency & cheap “Template” can cause havoc on your rank.

Currently hitting 60+ weekly but still seeing red. Holding my WC but time to cull a few suspects🤔

I take 2 positive’s from a tortuous GW, my planning for the next minefield has begun. Not many times will you get a green arrow with 43pts👍
