A long thread looking at #FPL captaincy strategy between game weeks 17 & 22.

Aim is to highlight the best captaincy choices to target the weakest defences to maximise your points potential.

First, let’s look at the worst 5 teams in defensive statistics:

Some players may not offer the best captaincy choices, but over the same period they may score more consistently due to less difficult fixtures!

How to put this in to practice? I think there’s a balance and you don’t necessarily need to have all these players at the same time...

Because you’re captaining them it might be worth taking hits.

This is how I am planning on navigating the fixtures to give you all an example..

Current team at end of #GW16 on left and proposed team for #GW17 on right:

Salah 🔄 Sterling
Ryan 🔄 Lossl (-4)

Captain Kane vs 🎯 Burnley

GW18 team then becomes this:

Ward 🔄 Hazard
Laporte 🔄 Digne
Kane 🔄 Aguero (-8)

Captain Aubameyang vs Burnley 🎯

GW19

Roll the FT/address injuries etc.

Captain Aubameyang vs Brighton 🎯

GW20

Roll the FT/address injuries etc.

Captain Sterling vs Southampton 🎯

GW21

Aguero 🔄 Kane
Fraser 😢😢🔄 budget enabler

Captain Aubemyang vs Fulham 🎯

GW22

Roll the FT/address injuries

Captain Hazard vs Newcastle 🎯

Worth noting that you can probably pick any combination of the above for GW17-22, but Kane looks to be absolutely essential for GW23-27 so you want to try and work him in to your team for then.
