It seems I am engaged in a losing battle with @Twitter and will probably throw a white flag soon and just walk away.

They have reduced my exposure to the point of functional invisibility.

My account once received as many 6 million organic impressions a month.

Aug 2018:

That has changed dramatically.

In the last month those numbers have been reduced to less than 500,000--and falling.

On Dec 5th I received less than 98 organic impressions, despite having published 13 tweets.

I normally average above 5000 a day a full week with NO tweets.

Twitter can pretend, argue, claim that nothing is amiss, but someone, or some group of someones, is playing puppet master behind the scenes.

Shadow banning.
Exposure throttling.

These are real things that are really happening.

There is pretty convincing evidence within their own analytics that there is a problem.

But they ignore it all and maintain the same unconvincing narrative defenses they always have.

It is sad and frustrating.

LOOK at these numbers from mid October when Twitter started shadow banning many prominent liberal tweeps as the midterms loomed.

Notice that in the week directly following Oct 21st that the impressions data line suddenly goes almost flat.

I have over 20,000 followers with very different levels of social media presence. And no matter how many tweets I did or did not publish on those days my organic impressions maintained an unlikely level of consistency.

This has happened often.

It seems clear that someone or some part of the algorithm is applying individual exposure parameters along different time ranges.

Whatever the intent, in this political environment, any attempt to silence the resistance, otherwise known as the good guys, must be fought.
