$TSLA and/or Dr. Besh just lied in their (made by Dr. Besh sent via Tesla PR) statement to @cfarivar about Access Omnicare physician Dr. Muhannad S. Hafi. In other parts, it's incredibly misleading. Here's how Tesla is trying to distract from reality.
First of all, here's the timeline:
8/17/2017 - Dr. Muhannad S. Hafi sued in Alameda County Superior Court (see plainsite.org/dockets/38on2i…)
11/2/2017 - Dr. Hafi formally accused by MBC (see plainsite.org/realitycheck/t…)
1/26/2018 - @Reveal records show Dr. Hafi sees $TSLA employee patient
Lie #1: "He was never part of our team at the Tesla Health Center." Yes he was, according to at least one ex-Access Omnicare employee, Anna Watson. If this is a semantic game where Tesla is technically saying he didn't work on-site at the factory, so what?
Lie #2: Timing. If Hafi was fired in "early June" and worked "less than 4 months," at the earliest he was hired in early February. But he saw a patient from Tesla in late January. Either he was seeing patients before he was "hired," or something is wrong with the assertion.
Lie #3: "...at-the-time unsubstantiated allegations..." Whether Hafi was hired in January or February—or even December—the Attorney General of California had already filed a formal, *publicly available* Accusation against Hafi as of November 2, 2017. That's not "unsubstantiated."
Serious Problem #4: "Appropriate safeguards are always in place..." Really? Because patients need to be protected from their physicians, who according to this statement are sometimes known to their employers to be sexual predators and repeat offenders?
Securities Law/Fiduciary Duty/Willful Gross Negligence Violation #5: Compare and contrast @ElonMusk's statement to investors on the October 2018 earnings call about "first-class healthcare" with the three words below regarding Hafi's history of sexual predation.
Thanks to @WillCIR for his fantastic reporting, without which we wouldn't have found anything!
We'd still like answers about "Kenneth Hammonds, M.D." who is either embellishing his D.O. degree or does not exist.
