Who would want to work for Access Omnicare, $TSLA's medical provider examined by @Reveal? Well, probably a doctor like Muhannad S. Hafi, MD. In January 2018 He examined this patient described in Reveal's story, and recommended "FULL DUTY, no modifications" after an accident.
A few months before, he'd been sued for malpractice. plainsite.org/dockets/38on2i…
...and when he conducted the exam, his license was also in jeopardy on account of his history of sexual harassment. www2.mbc.ca.gov/BreezePDL/docu…
Access Omnicare's founder gave a statement regarding the @Reveal story that suggests that Reveal's source, Anna Watson, is under investigation. Yet unlike Dr. Hafi, her record is clear, raising the question of whether $TSLA reported her in retaliation. search.dca.ca.gov/details/9501/P…
Then there's the issue of Dr. Sarah Hall, MD. There is no licensed physician or surgeon named Sarah Hall in CA. We called the state medical board to verify. The only exception to the licensing requirement involves practicing on federal land. She might be a non-MD...or lying?
Called Access Omnicare to inquire about Dr. Sarah Hall. Receptionist had never heard of her. Then she double-checked and confirmed that Sarah Hall worked for Access Omnicare for "*one week*". She couldn't specify when.
Who is "Kenneth Hammonds, MD," a doctor with a completely generic signature and a stamp? There is no such physician or surgeon in California. There is not even such a doctor with an MD on Google.
(We called the one "Kenneth A. Hammonds, MD"'s phone number that appeared on Google. His wife answered the phone and was generous enough to talk to us. He has been deceased since 2009. He also wasn't an MD. He was a doctor in a different field she said, and a minister.)
Which leads to the question, what is "Access Omnicare" anyway? It's not a corporation or LLC registered in California. Its domain name is privacy protected. It has no registered trademarks. Carol at Access Omnicare suggested it is a DBA of Basil R. Besh, M.D., Inc., a CA company.
At best, $TSLA may have liability under a knew-or-should-have-known standard for subjecting employees to treatment by a predatory MD who was already facing charges by the Medical Board of California as of late 2017. At worst, the other "MD"s were fake.
There are several pending lawsuits where these facts may be relevant. plainsite.org/tags/tesla-wor…
Here's another Access Omnicare provider mentioned in @Reveal's reporting, Robert Estis, PA. According to @ProPublica's Prescriber Checkup database, he appears to have a higher than average tendency to prescribe opioids. projects.propublica.org/checkup/provid…
