This year 23-year-old Jain sadhu Bhaktiyashovijaya authored a Sanskrit commentary on ‘Gudharthatattvaloka’. The commentary in 14 volumes and 4,500 pages has ~28,80,000 syllables (~90,000 anushtup verses), 90% as long as Mahabharata!! And some Dhritarashtra-s say Sanskrit is dead.
The President of India, the Vice President of India, the Prime Minister of India, and the Chief Minister of Gujarat commended the Sadhu on this mind-boggling feat. This is the largest commentary & one of the largest works ever written in Sanskrit. All this by a 23-year-old sadhu!
Eminent Sanskrit/Nyaya scholars like Vashishtha Tripathi (Varanasi, UP), Mahesh Jha Pastan (Madhubani, Bihar), & Narasimhacharya Katti (Ingaleshwar, Karnataka) hailed this feat. So many erudite Sanskrit scholars in our country even today and the Dhritarashtra knows none of them.
