Obvs would welcome this. Therefore doubt it'll ever take place.
The reasoning seems bizarre to me. It's true there's probably no majority for no-deal, EEA or second referendum. But it's possible any one of them, or maybe even all of them, would secure more support than May's deal.
My view is that if there is a majority to be found for anything, it'll be after May's deal is rejected. Having no govt option and weeks to cliff edge forces MPs to give up their optimal choices and tolerate their least bad ones.
That's partly why I'm sure despairing at current timetable. Really wanted Xmas break to be when minds could reassess options in wake of govt deal defeat.
