So which Fox News employee is the president getting to replace Mattis? Jack Keane? Pete Hegseth?
Bret Baier is already name-dropping Fox News senior strategic analyst Jack Keane as a potential Defense Secretary pick, pointing out at he and Trump talk frequently.
On Fox in the 7 pm hour, Keane says he has no plans to return to government service and attacks Trump's Syria withdrawal.

Finding a nominee here might be tricky.
Adopting my typical strategy of assuming the worst, I'm going with Oliver North. Fox News pedigree, military experience, involvement in a major political scandal, head of an org that's up to its neck in the Russia probe. Sounds about right.
Alternate candidate: Dana Rohrabacher needs a job and is a big fan of both Trump and Putin.

Alright. Time to identify all of the Trump-Fox livetweets that I missed while I was off for the holidays.
I've nailed down around 20 Trump tweets that appear to respond to Fox programming. There are certainly more, but there are a few factors making it more complicated -- lots of tweets about the wall and Syria and the economy that could be, but are not definitively, live-tweets.
I'll start with 12/21.

#Mattis was originally fired during the first five of the Obama years & he apparently missed the 196th guy getting canned. Obama had a paranoia that the Military might “have it out for him” (perhaps discover the secret records or BC?) & overthrow him in a coup.
