This has allowed the forces to reduce dead inventory. There have been instances wherein forces used to buy equipment and spares worth crores and didnt use them. in many cases the spares were not even opened and have now become dead stock #NamoSecuresBharat
Spares become dead stock because the equipment they were meant for has been retired from service. a prescious National resource was going waste under UPA. Namo has changed it #NamoSecuresBharat
now our forces follow the JIT process, they maintain only the absolute minimum number of spares is being kept on stock, there by avoiding unnecessary and excessive procurement . This is called Good Governance #NamoSecuresBharat
