Does god exist?
Does he not exist?
Perhaps the real question is . . .
Is there a God independent of man?
Not as a wishing well . . .
Not as one who can provide things . . .
But as one to whom man can surrender everything.
He is beset by legions of problems
His is a lifelong saga of unpredictability and turmoil
The fact that he seeks a helping hand from an all-knowing deity is understandable
That if a man surrenders himself whole to a god, it would serve him greatly.
The Truth is, who or what a man surrenders himself to is irrelevant
It is the very separation of him from himself that sets him free
The greatest Truth he can speak is "I Do Not Know"
Life comes at him in waves
And he is left sitting amongst the wreckage
Attempting to create a semblance of logic out of the illogical
Or to a benevolent god
He will have the weight of life lifted from his shoulders
The torment of consequences fall upon the Knower
The world around him knows nothing
The events of his life do not ascribe to logic
The corrective actions he takes bring about further confusion
Is the wisest of actions
But it is best pursued only when one feels that he has no other choice
For to do so prematurely
Is to invite further confusion
Or to a all-knowing god
Is precisely what makes a man
The god
To whom he surrenders
Namaste.
