Ask what solutions women want to see; work toward those resolutions.
Approach misogynistic behavior with empathy first, but cut ties with stubborn misogynists and tell them why.
If you see or hear harassment, state with clarity that it’s unacceptable.
Teach others that sexual attraction and objectification are not the same thing. Don’t tolerate the latter.
Resist the urge to take a protective role - be a partner. Support and backup creates the same safety without silencing.
Don’t get defensive.
Elevate qualified women by vouching on their behalf.
Vote for qualified women.
Push back against legislation that controls women.
Push for the ERA.
Above all, remember that women are more than girlfriends, wives, or mothers - be an ally not for credit, but because we are your fellow human beings. I promise, feminists are much less monstrous than you’ve heard. We even smile.
