$TSLAQ.

Last week I posted photos of a South Florida storage lot for Tesla. I neglected to inform everyone that a very good fried chicken truck was located on the route to the lot(s). Mostly because I was hungry, i decided to go back. . .

#Teslastoreupdate
To my shock and dismay, I found a fair amount of movement, which alarmed me.

At first.

To review, this is the panoramic view from last week.
This is the panoramic view from today. Note the gap in the center, where many cars used to be, but no longer are.
In a panicky sweat, I moved on to the aux lot, fearing that the Ghosts of Alter Viggo and Greg Wester were conspiring to steal my Christmas.
Upon I arriving at the aux lot, my fear became palpable, as I noticed even more movement. Here's the almost empty aux lot today.
here's the same aux lot from last week. Stuffed with cars, mostly Model S's. My god, I thought. Do I need to call my Chimera Securities broker and cover my short? I started walking in circles.
And, like the three kings following the star to Bethlehem, I found the manger. Or even better than the manger. Lo! A new lot! Stuffed to the gills with Baby Jesus's. This new lot is a 200 yard walk through the aux lot, and pretty much hidden from the street.
But something is/was odd about the aux lot. All these red 3's are new. They were not there last week.
Here is the main lot from last week. Lots of red cars in that bunch. Were they merely moved to the aux lot? Unknown. I do know that half the red cars in the aux lot had 11/18 manufacture stickers, half had 12/18.
Also, the aux lot contained a ton of Model S's last week. The aux lot is now mostly empty of S's. But the new lot is chock full, as you can see. And, most of them have front license plate brackets. Florida does not require front tags.
At this point, I have exorcised the Ghosts of Viggo and Wester and I am starving. The chicken truck is on my way home. You know what else is on the way home? The service center. Here is the service center from last week. Note the exposed row with the red Model 3's.
Here's the service center from today. An added row of mostly new 3's, probably getting prepped for sale. I say probably because the red 3's are still there, behind the new front row.
What to conclude? Not sure. The new lot was empty last week. In fact, I tried to drive to it as it is visible from the street. Either those cars were moved to the new lot last week while they were waiting for space to open up. . .
or they were moved away from the more easily accessible lots for. . . what reason I don't know. While it is fun to imagine them moving cars to keep them away from prying eyes, the likely conclusion is some cars were sold, and the new lot cars will be moved up in the queue.
The good news is I have recruits lined up to continue the surveillance next week. We'll see what happens.
