#WeAreTheUniversity
1x local one, to defend our jobs against compulsory redundancies, as discussed in this thread 👆; &
1x national one, over pay, casualisation & the gender pay gap, as discussed here 👉:
-unprecedented attacks on pay & pensions;
-endemic neoliberal, gig-economy style, working conditions;
-stifling managerialism; &
-a creeping workload-related mental health crisis for staff...
*But*...
Our collective understanding of the issues has never been so clear.
The @UCU is bigger, stronger, more democratic, & more able to resist than *ever* before.
The Union makes us strong; the University belongs to us.
