The #USSstrikes taught that our Union is strongest when combining expert analysis with unified industrial action.
We hope @CardiffUni will see sense, but the best chance we have of keeping our jobs is to have an active mandate for industrial action if/when redundancies come.

We're at a low-point in the marketisation of UK Higher Ed, & this has led to:
-unprecedented attacks on pay & pensions;
-endemic neoliberal, gig-economy style, working conditions;
-stifling managerialism; &
-a creeping workload-related mental health crisis for staff...
*But*...
