An old copywriting saying says, "Don't tell me about your weedkiller, tell me about my crab grass!"
The people you are cold messaging only care about themselves
They don't know you and don't care about you

If I send a headline that reads:

You'll say BULLSHIT
I've got to prove that headline immediately
Here's how...
Slightly more believable, right?
Joining proof to your headline is huge
"[Claim] by [Proof]" is a great formula to start with
Example: Learn to write copy today by reading this 12 page guide
If you think you can't swipe headlines from others and re-purpose them for your needs, you're in for a long struggle with copywriting
Copywriting is more about construction than creativity

This is always a great formula... Andy could have done even better by adding a "by [insert proof]" after his claim

This is a creative use of wording to draw in people with an unusual word, "napalm"
It also does something most won't notice
