I see tweets about talking about your favourite creators, and letting them know that you enjoy their work, and I keep putting it off.
But it's still 2018 in Canada, so let me tell you all about @loadingreadyrun
(Incoming thread)
Some history. LRR started 15 years ago, producing sketch comedy videos, 1 per week, every week, for 11 YEARS straight.

During this time they also created Unskippable (like MST3K for videogame cutscenes), Strip Search (like America's Next Top Model, for cartoonists), and a bunch of other stuff.

More recently, they produce shorter, more frequent sketches they call Crapshots, Friday Nights (a sitcom where everyone plays Magic), The Panalysts (A British panel show style show), and a variety of podcasts.

12 years ago, they started Desert Bus for Hope (which I've mentioned before as one of my favourite things every year), which has since outgrown them, but they are a major part of it.

6 years ago, they started streaming on Twitch. They currently stream more than 45 hours a week, split into 3-hour shows, some number of which I will try to list
Shows playing:
Dating Sims (Now Kiss)
Rhythm Games (Rhythm Cafe)
Board Games (AFK)
(cont.)
Tabletop RPGs (Dice Friends)
Minecraft (Mine O'Clock)
Newly released games (New Day Tewsday)
PUBG (... One More?)
Close readings of games (Talking Simulator)
Magic Online/Arena (LRRMTG)
A random game each show (Games of Chance)
(cont.)
Horror Games (Let's Nope)
Bad Games (Watch+Play)
IRL Crafting/Cooking (Tinker Tailor Solder Fry)
Writting and filming comedy sketches (The Crapshoot)
Paper Magic (Friday Night Paper Fight)
Whatever Adam feels like (Adam's Gamehaus)
(cont.)
And my favourite, a live Variety/Gameshow/Batsu-game (LoadingReadyLive)
I literally watch more from these people than Netflix/TV/etc combined.

They also have the best community I have ever been a part of. They have twitch streams with more than 1000 viewers, where the chat isn't vile and unusable.
And that's just collectively. Most of the members of LRR also have their personal projects
@Graham_LRR is a fantastic video editor, and makes some really nice vlogs

@Kathleen_LRR streams her pirate radio show Brave New Faves every week, and has introduced me to more new music than I have every heard before.

@ihorner and @apsalar stream as @tiltyhouse
(cont.)
@LunarJade just recently stream 369 days in row.

@BengineeringTV has almost finished streaming playing all 14 million Kingdom Hearts games before KH3, and streams in tandem as the Multipals with @sergeyager, who is himself, an endless font of positivity and Minecraft.
(cont.)
@UnarmedOracle streams and is the kind of thoughtful person I would like to be more like.

@WakeUpSuper streams and makes the amazing Spectator Mode, a series on eSports, and why people love them.
(cont.)
@alexsteacy is a fantastic cartoonist (go check out his stuff), occasionally streams, and is probably the single greatest influence on me learning to draw.

@James_LRR, @tuxbeej, and Paul (who isn't on twitter) don't stream a lot, but they are cool people anyway.
So there you go. In 2018 (and for a number of years now), most of my media consumption, and a good amount of my social interactions, have been in some way related to a dozen very prolific people from an island in Canada.
If you are looking for new people to follow, or stuff to watch in 2019, I couldn't recommend them highly enough.
(Apologies for tweet-vomit. Twitter's threading thing is actually pretty good for composing longer things, but then it just posts them all in one go)
