I’ve pled for some things from God for many years He hasn’t yet granted. Things I’ve seen Him do for others. He’s faithfully sustained me through these hopes deferred & poured out 1000 blessings in ways I’d never even requested. I just want you to know: me, too. Let’s trust Him.
It’s easy to think there are people out there who are God’s favorites & they get everything they ask. It simply is not true. That our pain & longings are being overlooked is a lie Satan uses to torment us. No one’s more loved than you. You’re seen & heard by God. Don’t lose hope.
This verse means a lot to me and sits propped in my kitchen by my coffee maker where I can take heart in it often. He knows what you long for. He hears your every sigh. Where He does not grant our request, He will grant us His comfort. No small trade indeed. He is everything.
