Would it surprise you to learn the greatest global two-year cooling event of the last century just occurred? From February 2016 to February 2018 (the latest month available) global average temperatures dropped 0.56°C.
You have to go back to 1982-84 for the next biggest two-year drop, 0.47°C—also during the global warming era. All the data in this essay come from GISTEMP Team, 2018: GISS Surface Temperature Analysis (GISTEMP).

@Ocasio2018 In the U.S. at least, air pollution is down since 1992 for every single pollutant the EPA measures. And our CO2 emissions are down since the mid-1990s, yet #ClimateCatastrophists claim NONE of that improvement has slowed global, or U.S. #ClimateChange.

1. On Global Warming

What will it take for me to believe humans are causing catastrophic global warming? Not a lot. Just reputable scientific evidence that the global temperatures have been rising steadily and alarmingly over the last 50-100 years. Is that too much to ask?
2. As I demonstrated in the enclosed thread, NASA has waxed and waned over whether the earth has been warming or cooling over the past century, depending on political zeitgeist on the topic. It doesn't inspire confidence, does it?
3. Be that as it may, it is best to keep an open mind on the topic, and go wherever the evidence leads. While the most recent data is no more conclusive than the historical data, it is reasonable to believe our measurement systems are more advanced now than they were in the past.
