Breast cancer is so common and this MRI is essential to my surgeon to prepare for surgery. 1/
My surgery isn't part of my clinical trial, it is standard care.
Moffitt told me it doesn't matter and that my only option is to pay for the MRI out of pocket. 2/
I still don't know. I've been on hold for 15 minutes and now Moffitt is transferring me to a second business department, which will eventually give me an "estimate." 3/
The first time, my doctors succeeded. The second time, they failed.
So I just won't get an MRI before surgery. GREAT. 6/
Once, I needed prior authorization for a drug to boost my immune system after chemotherapy. I got chemo on a Fri. and was supposed to inject myself with the drug on a Sat. 7/
And then they insisted on MAILING it to me instead of calling it in to my pharmacy. And then they forgot to do that for THREE WEEKS. 8/
End.
