Sunday morning listening to the very knowledge food expert Dr. Khadar. He has spent the past 20 years, rediscovering the millets which were staple food of humans for 8000+ years!

He says - milk, eggs, meat, white rice, wheat, refined oil, coffee and tea are killing our health.
Real food is what releases glucose to your bloodstream slowly, says Dr. Khadar.

He prescribes these "Siri dhanya" or the most useful millets for daily consumption. He explained how proper grains and vegetables can cure even the most dreaded diseases over time.
In 1950, the average walking distance by humans per day was 18 KM. Today it is 1.1 KM.

This is why humans are falling sick at alarming rate. Walking is the most complete exercise. We are walking machines. Get back to basics.

Dr. Khadar kept walking during 2 hours talk.
18% of forest slopes are denuded because of coffee and tea growing. If everyone leaves coffee and tea for a couple of years, most of life giving rivers will start becoming healthy in size across India, specifically the Western Ghats and Himalayas.

And caffeine is not that good.
70% of humans are unable to easily empty their large intestine every morning, but we are more focused on reaching Mars. Even there you wouldn't be able to clean intestine easily, jokes Dr.Khadar!

His solutions are simple:
Eat millets and veggies.
Eat seasonal & local food.
Walk!
