Growing up poor/not having enough to eat is a real thing. That simple fact is ignored in the tax debate.

One thing to remember when people claim society is not broken is that is just their experience.

Hunger is real. Wealth inequality is real.

There is a way up and out in America in ways that are not possible elsewhere, but that doesn’t mean the system is done getting better.
