When I allow myself to think of the day we no longer have a treasonous, bigoted criminal in the Oval Office, I think about who will come next. I don’t mean Pence, that mumbling, powdery beta-bully who probably masturbates to Veggie Tales... 1/

I mean the correction: someone who represents progressive values – like Obama after Bush, only on steroids.

But when he was elected Obama said there would be no looking backwards – no trial/punishment for the crimes of the Bush years: Iraq, Wall St. deregulation, Katrina, etc 2/

“Let’s not hold people accountable for what they did. Let’s not pick at scabs. It’s all about coming together.” That was the optimistic vibe in 2008. 3/

Except Republicans didn’t want to come together. The ACA fight, Merrick Garland, Benghazi, etc.

And then they used voter suppression and Russia to help them steal all three branches of government.

And then look what they did. 4/

Whether it’s the environment, human rights, access to health care, the economy, the quality of our judges, our relationships with allies, our moral standing and ability to influence issues abroad...the #TrumpShutdown...the US has been made weaker in every way. 5/

So when they’re pushed out of power this time, I don’t want to hear about just moving forward and “coming together.” We let them off too easy before. 6/

The Trumps and Kushners. Pence. McConnell and Ryan. DeVos, Carson, Pruitt, and the rest of the Cabinet. Sanders, Miller, Conway... everyone who has been a part of this: Investigate them. Freeze assets. Bleed them dry on legal fees. Keep them off TV. Ruin them. 7/

Let history record them as the villains they are. 8/
