Maduro's Venezuela has been a great example of how modern kleptocratic regimes—looting the country, using shell companies to move the cash, parking it in Miami real estate, trying to hide all of your steps—aren't exclusively a right-wing authoritarian phenomenon.
Plus, we also have gobs of info on how Maduro's very own family got in on the action, to the tune of stealing *hundreds of millions of dollars*
And at last check, Maduro himself was still under investigation for his role in that massive money laundering scheme his three step-sons were involved in.
