Who wants to destroy the Huffington Post?

Because I have an idea.
Apparently there is interest.

Some of you might have caught this article today, noting that Verizon Media, Huffpo's parent company, is laying off 7% of its workforce.
I saw this and realized - Verizon. Really? I wouldn't think that my cell phone company owned a noxious antifa rag.

But it is indeed so. Verizon purchased AOL back in 2015, and HuffPo came along with that purchase.
Two things are true about Huffington Post:

1) It doesn't make money (that's why Verizon media is laying people off)
2) It's trivial in size comparison to Verizon's main business (maybe $100-200 million in a company that does $125 billion yearly)
Next - Verizon has over 150 million cell phone subscriptions in the United States.

That's the heart of the business.

How many conservatives do you think are among those 150 million?

😈😈😈
Cell phone service is a *very* competitive market.

AT&T is right behind them with ~140million subscribers.

Would it really be that hard for Verizon subscribers to switch?

After all, most providers give bonuses/discounts to customers to do just that!
So basically, the idea is this.

A social media campaign against Verizon to demand that they shutter HuffPo.

If they don't within, say, 90 days, conservatives commit to switch cell phone providers.

A catchy hashtag would help.

Thoughts?
Anyway I'm going to sleep on it but discuss amongst yourselves
