Celebrating 100days in office of any Governor has become a ritual in Nigeria. In most cases, the celebration of 100 days do witness commissioning of some projects such as roads, boreholes, transformers etc.

In the case of Dr Kayode Fayemi, we might not been seeing commissioning of roads, boreholes etc but from what i have observed, seen and witnessed I will assess him on the followings;
Education
Infrastructures
Health
Worker's welfare

Education:

Ekiti is known as fountain of knowledge. Sadly, the last administration of the state nearly destroyed the Educational sector of the state. Pupils in both primary amd secondary schools were levied when we should be talking about free education.

After his inauguration on Oct 16, 2018, Dr @kfayemi abolished the anti-masses policy of charging pupils in both primary and secondary schools. He signed into law free education for pupils in Ekiti state.

In his first 100 days, Dr @kfayemi has secured $3million World Bank grant for Tech Education. He has approved #250million counterpart fund to access SDGs conditional grant scheme.

In his first 100 days, 14,000 pupils in Ekiti state got free WAEC form. Dr @kfayemi approved the payment of #21.7million for JAMB forma for 3,000 pupils in Ekiti state.

Infrastructures:
Let me cast your memory back a little bit. Pre Fayose's administration, Ekiti was having Ikogosi full of activities, GOSSY water in partnership with UAC was active. Ire bricks had been revived etc.

4years after, everything became dead.

So the first assignment Dr @kfayemi did was to visit all these abandoned projects that could have helped our IGR. He was at Ikogosi. He visited Ero dam, Egbe Dam, Ire bricks, he visited the abandoned farm settlements such as Orin, Ikosun, Iyemero etc

In his first 100 days, Dr @kfayemi flagged off 53million naira Ero dam treatment plant. He accelerated work on the revitalization of Egbe dam. On completion, folks living around Ipolo Iloro, Okemesi, Ido Ile, Erinjiyan will enjoy water supply.

Still on Infrastructures, in his first 100 days Dr @kfayemi had secured $120,000 grants under National Strategic Health plan. Similarly, he just signed MoU with a leading mobile giant in Dubai MUNDIA GROUP to provide MOBILE CHILD HEALTH SERVICE

Health:
If my memory serves me right, Dr @kfayemi administration during his 1st term was the last time any of the General Hospitals were renovated in Ekiti state. The last administration had no interest in the health sector.

In his first 100 days, Dr @kfayemi had set up 40 designated centers for free health care service to the vulnerable and elderly.

He has also made provisions for free eye glasses to the vulnerable and elderly

Worker's Welfare:
Before the inauguration of Dr @kfayemi on Oct 16, 2018, workers in Ekiti had been turned to beggers. Fayose's administration was owing workers 5-9 months salaries (including LG workers)

Pensioners had even lost hope. Despite the Paris Fund payment, Budget support funds, monthly allocations, IGR, workers were being owed. Subventions to EKSU, College of Education in Ikere, Ijero Health tech had stopped.

In his first 100days, Dr @kfayemi had ensured that workers get there salaries every month. He had uses the last tranche of Paris Fund 3.9billion naira to offset a month salary arrears.

In his first 100 days, Dr @kfayemi had approved the payment of N200million naira as car loans fpr Teachers in Ekiti state.

In his first 100 days, Dr @kfayemi had approved the payment of N143million for 6,203 teachers as Rural Teachers and Core subject allowance.

Agriculture:

This is my area of interests. Area of interests in the sense that, with massive investment, Ekiti state can feed the whole country. Yes, you had me LOUD and Clear.

Currentl, Ekiti state has 87,000 hectares of land uncleared. We currently has roughly 3000 hectares of land suitable for planting. You can find them at Orin, Ago Aduloju, Ipao, Iyemero, Ikosun, Erio, Ikere, Oke Ako

At Ikosun, Ekiti have 43 hectares of irrigation land. Equipments were purchased during the first term of Dr @kfayemi

Sadly, Fayose's administration abandoned such laudable projects. In fact those equipment are still there.

In his first 100 days, Dr @kfayemi was at Ikosun farm settlements and he instructed that the farm should be revived. From a reliable source, memo has been prepared tp bring back the companies that install those equipment.

Currently, the process to register all the farmers in Ekiti has commenced. The biometric registration will be done for two weeks.

So, if you are a farmer, brace up, help is coming.

Let me stop for here and talk about the major issue i have with Dr @kfayemi government.

The major problem is COMMUNICATION.

Asiwaju Oladimeji is aware of some of these little gains in his firs 100 days because i am eager to know what's going on.

Go round Ado Ekiti, i can bet u, 90% are not aware of some of these programs. This is where Dr @kfayemi communication team needs to wake up.
