The average starting time for early voting is 22 days before the election. If party bosses don’t like mail-in voters they shorten this period as much as possible, hoping for slow mail. For example make it 7-10 days in rural northern Minnesota in January.

Up to four days for the ballot to reach you in the mail. Up to four days for it to get back. Better act quick or forget it.

MYTH: Claims that the economy is at "full employment" used by the right to argue that Trump is rebuilding America and by the left to argue for higher immigration quotas.
FACT: Labor supply does not meet demand at a wage that Americans can live on.

What’s the unemployment rate when we don’t count jobs making less than $15 an hour? Sky high.
So much for bogus arguments that the economy is at “full employment” that are used both to shill for @realDonaldTrump
and to push for higher immigration quotas.
Sensible rules:
$15 minimum wage.
Heavy fines for employers who hire undocumented workers.
Universal health care buy-in option for 10% of income.
Increase immigration quotas only when the economy reaches full employment under these sensible rules, but NOT before then.

BREAKING NEWS -- State Senator David Tomassoni, Representative David Lislegard and other DFL machine politicians from Minnesota's Iron Range are coming out in SUPPORT of Trump's wall, provided American steel is used to build it. Corrupt to the core.
These are the same types of DFL political hacks who support Trump's disastrous steel tariffs and Trump's policy of bringing sulfide mining (PolyMet and Twin Metals) to the Lake Superior watershed and Boundary Waters.
The truth is that large parts of Minnesota's DFL Party are bought by mining companies, affiliated "trade councils" and other special interests. Otherwise a letter such as this -- suggesting Democrats capitulate on the wall -- would never have been written. Pathetic.

Today's (10-31) Data Thread: NC's 2018 'early votes' are setting new #s in terms of absentee by mail & one-stop/in-person for a mid-term:

Over 1.4M requests have been made & returned & accepted (accepted mail not yet past 2014 total #s, but in-person has)

2018's absentee by mail ballots have slowed somewhat, & thus the #s have not yet reached 2014's #s.

But in absentee onestop/in-person ballots, NC has exceed 2014's #s for both requested & accepted.

Reminder: 2014 had 10 days of early voting & 2018 has 18 days.

1) Here is when states allow Early Voting for the November 6th Election. If a state is missing, there is no Early Voting or Absentee Ballots permitted.

Alaska – 10/22

Arizona – 10/11

Arkansas – 10/22

California – Early voting varies by county but most will begin 10/8
2) Colorado – Every Colorado voter receives a ballot in the mail, but you can still vote in person at a Voter Service and Polling Center if you'd like starting on 10/30

Connecticut – Absentee Ballot in person 10/7

Florida – 10/27

Georgia – 10/22

Hawaii – 10/23
3) Idaho – 10/15 (in some cases, earlier)

Illinois – 10/22

Indiana – 10/10

Iowa – Absentee Ballot (in person) only if you can’t vote before Election Day when ballots are available

I suggest as a remedy we separate the General election from the Presidential election and start the 4yr cycle forward after the removal of Trump. @HillaryClinton rightfully deserves 4 years in office.

I’ll grant you back in the normal days before the-hack-heard-around-the-world 2016 election I would agree.
