Finally, as a reminder, I originally developed the mapping concept in 2005 for my own use and provided the underpinning of the evolution curve in 2007. It's all creative commons share alike which means the book, the images ... all of it ...
... the maps you produce are your own. But, if you do develop the field then I expect you to maintain creative commons share alike. There's nothing I dislike more than parasites who take a gift that they weren't intellectually capable of creating and try to make it proprietary.
I do realise that this is unfortunately how some of our market economy works, especially in the US, where some think that taking a gift and changing a term makes it all "magically innovative". But then that's why the US is getting its arse kicked by China.
So by all means develop and grow the field but keep to the spirit in which it was given and from which any such work is derived. Pay it forward.
