This is brilliantly put and is my position.

I have values beyond one single issue and however much I believe the new gender ideology to be a vicious attack on women and their rights, I will never align myself with racists, misogynists and right wingers.

I feel irked by some of the responses to this tweet. Perhaps I should have written 'extreme' right wingers. Perhaps the line in the article referring to fascists *is* a little over the top. But this is about general principles: ie my right to have them!

I'm allowed my limits.
I'm allowed to think some things are right and wrong. I'm allowed my own set of principles.

I understand the need to reach out, and to form political alliances with those we do not always agree with. But for me there are limits.

I do not wish to collaborate with Trump
supporting, reproductive rights denying racists. They are not on the side of women's rights.

Feminism doesn't kill trans people.

Neither are women reponsible for the mental health of male people who erroneously believe themselves to be female.

Women are a distinct biological class of people entitled to rights and privacy. Take your emotional blackmail and shove it.
Every single point made in this video can be refuted. Many can be proven untrue.

The issue is, and has always been, risk of male violence and perception of risk. Women know that male people perpetrate almost all sexual violence. We have been socialised all our lives to fear and
take responsibility for avoiding it. Women recognise the vast majority of trans women as biologically male. Therefore we feel the same risk we would if any male were in our sex segregated spaces.

We can't cognitively trick ourselves into perceiving obviously biologically male

The ultimate aim - as with everything - is for trans women to compete in women's sports on a self ID basis. With no gatekeeping whatsoever. Because biological males are female if they say so.

I mean that escalated quick, didn't it, from 'We just want to pee in peace.'
In 2019 fight with all your might. Before your daughters have nothing: no safe, sex segregated spaces, no sports, no workable laws to protect them from sex discrimination.

When I first started talking about this issue, my friends scoffed and dismissed me as alarmist when I said
we would have biologically male rapists in women's prisons. The sheer rapidity with which the next frontiers and boundaries are being torn through is frightening.

And it won't stop. What seems alarmist today will be tomorrow's new reality. At what point will you say: enough.

After meeting Judge Kavanaugh and reviewing his record, I have decided to support his nomination. No one will ever completely agree with a nominee (unless of course, you are the nominee). Each nominee however, must be judged on the totality of their views character and opinions.
I have expressed my concern over Judge Kavanaugh’s record on warrantless bulk collection of data and how that might apply to very important privacy cases before the Supreme Court.
In reviewing his record on other privacy cases like Jones, and through my conversation with him, I have hope that in light of the new precedent in Carpenter v. United States, Judge Kavanaugh will be more open to a Fourth Amendment that protects digital records and property.
