Bijan Kian, Michael Flynn's former business partner who was charged with conspiracy late last year, will have a motion hearing on Feb 7 at the federal courthouse in AX, Va.

At the hearing, attys will discuss Kian's request for a bill of particulars outlining specific details associated with the charges levied against him (More on that here: documentcloud.org/documents/5690…)

And we'll also find out whether his Feb 11 trial date will be delayed; both prosecutors and def attys have said they could use the extra time to compile evidence. It seems likely at this point that the trial will in fact be pushed out to September.

Climate change and global warming are real. In the past, the US Meterological Society has explained why this argument here ⬇️ is false.
For one, weather and climate are not the same.
Weather is short term, climate = long term.
It can be cold one one day but if cumulatively, more days are hot and hotter than recorded history - the climate is warming.
Future generations will bear the worst of it. A night like tonight in the Midwest is dangerous. Imagine it happening more often and at greater intensity.
Even if people wish to believe it is a hoax, fine, but at the very least, the resiliency planning should become something we collectively concern ourselves with. This is about more than political games, this is about our collective future.

Basically, because of the way Flynn handled his sentencing memo — raising issues about how his interactions with federal agents were handled — the judge is going through an extended back-and-forth to make clear on the record that Flynn is actually admitting guilt to the charges.
