OK, benefit of the doubt gone.
At no point during the "but that was wrong of me" part of his speech does Liam Neeson actually address the fact that one black person committing a crime does not justify treating ANY black person you happen meet as if they'd committed that crime.
I feel I should add, I don't know or care enough about Liam Neeson to have a serious opinion. Maybe he's disgusted by his past racism as well as the general pursuit of violent vengeance but simply failed to clearly express it under pressure. Maybe he's clearing that up now. IDK
