Spending today at Hope, likely the last abortion clinic in Louisiana should the Supreme Court not block the state’s admitting privileges law.
Still no SCOTUS decision so the Hope clinic got King cake.
This AM, staff was too busy to think about whether SCOTUS will stay the admitting privileges law.
Now, with one and a half patients left -- meaning, the 2nd is done with the procedure and in the relaxation room -- it's all they can think about.
This waiting game is cruel.

The doctor -- the only Louisiana dr. with hospital admitting privileges -- just left for the night. "We love you," said the clinic's administrator, as they left.
Still no word from SCOTUS.

The staff is leaving now for the night, having no idea if the admitting privileges law will be in effect tomorrow. They suspect SCOTUS isn’t saying anything tonight.

Whatever happens tonight or tomorrow, know that some women who did the 1st appointment (counseling session) in Baton Rouge or New Orleans are already planning to come to Shreveport (a 4 hour drive, North) on Saturday.
