We’re now in Abeokuta. I asked one of the Engineers how fast we were traveling, was told about 60km per hour on this trip. The trains can run at a maximum of 150km per hour. #LagosIbadanRail #infrastructure

The #LagosIbadanRail will include 5km of Rail Lines within the Apapa Port Complex, & an 8km Rail Line connecting the Apapa Port to the Ebute Metta Mega Station.

This is when we rolled into Abeokuta. That Tunnel we just emerged from is believed to be the first-ever Train Tunnel in da whole of Naijeriya. Abeokuta people are really feeling it. They would like you to remember the city is Nigeria’s ‘Cradle of Civilization’. #LagosIbadanRail
