We have to rescue Nigeria from Buhari and his Cabals. The corruption under Buhari’s Govt is the biggest in the history of Nigeria. When Atiku wins Saturdays election, he would need special team to probe and recover looted funds under Buhari.

Few months before Lawan Daura was sacked as the DG DSS, he had prepared the budget for the agency and in it, created a special package for the operation of the secret police for the 2019 General Elections. He requested for N10billion to be spent by the agency for the elections.

He initially wanted N7billion but some special interests in Aso Rock namely Babagana Kingibe and Isa Funtua told him to up it to N10billion. He did and the budget approved. Not long, he was unceremoniously sacked from the agency by Acting President Osinbajo. The Cabals got angry!

The Cabals were angry because they would be losing from the N10billion should someone else who is not part of the clique takes over. When the Bayelsa born Mathew Seyeifa was appointed, the Cabals never wanted him to last in that position. They had their eyes on the N10billion

So, as soon as Buhari returned, Mathew Seyeifa was immediately kicked out as the DG DSS. The Cabals with the recommendation of Lawan Daura, brought in Yusuf Magaji Bichi whom Buhari declared he never met. Bichi was Daura’s boy and the cabal believe they can push him around.

Once Bichi resumed, sacked Lawan Daura started the habit of dishing orders to him, claiming the orders came from the President. Remember, Bichi does not have any relationship with the President. He doesn’t even have direct access except through the cabal led by Abba Kyari.

Lawan Daura’s orders started unsettling Bichi who some sees as a thorough bred professional. But he was helpless. Daura was basically doing Bichi’s job, using DSS officials loyal to him when he led the agency as DG. He kept his eyes on the N10billion, strategizing moves to strike

Some few weeks ago, Lawan Daura launched the moves to get a cut from the N10billion. He made the request to the DG DSS and was rebuffed. He went to the Cabals. The trio of Abba Kyari, Babagana Kingibe, Isa Funtua summoned Bichi and demanded for N5billion from the N10billion.

Bichi was still reluctant. Kingibe, Isa Funtua and Lawan Daura met Bichi again pilling pressure on him. Helpless Bichi offered N2billion. They refused and insisted on the N5billion. Bichi caved in and directed the release of the Agency’s N5billion to the Cabals. They smiled away!

Kyari, Kingibe, Funtua and Daura have all shared the N5billion leaving the DSS with N5billion for elections operation. Bichi is threatening to resign. The rank and file of the agency are all grumbling. All is not well with the DSS.

Top level officers are doing all they can to suppress the story so as not to kill the morale of officers.
I have been called severally not to make this public, citing national security. They said such revelation not good this time of elections.

My defense is that if it is public funds, then the public deserve to know how their tax money is being stolen by few persons privileged to be around the corridors of power. I don’t care if I don’t have to return to Nigeria again but I owe that country a duty to expose fraud!
