1. We spent a lot of time yesterday talking about Ilhan Omar and anti-Semitic tropes.

Can we spend 2 minutes talking about Duncan Hunter, who is still a Congressman because of his brazenly bigoted anti-Muslim smear campaign against his opponent?

2. Hunter ran a TV ad claiming his Dem opponent, Ammar Campa-Najjar, was trying to infiltrate the gov’t on behalf of the Muslim Brotherhood so he could give national security secrets to terrorists

3. As far as I can tell, Kevin McCarthy, who postured yesterday as a paragon of religious tolerance, never said anything about Hunter’s vile attacks.

This isn’t about religious tolerance for the GOP. It’s political opportunism.

1. There is an aspect of the media coverage in North Carolina election fraud scandal that is very troubling.

I gave the reporter involved, @NickOchsnerWBTV, a chance to explain but he's not getting back to me.

But people need to know about what happened.
@NickOchsnerWBTV 2. One of the key interviews of the campaign was when @NickOchsnerWBTV interviewed Lisa Britt, one of the people in Dowless' operation, on December 12.

In the interview Britt denied she had been paid to collect ballots & denied doing anything illegal.

3. Later, when Britt talked to the committee she admitted that yes, Dowless had paid her to collect ballots, which is against the law.

BREAKING: The North Carolina Election board has ordered a new election in the 9th Congressional district.

Republican Mark Harris' campaign engaged in systemic election fraud.

Harris himself called for a new election after the hearing began to reveal potentially criminal conduct

The election board hearing in North Carolina has revealed substantial evidence that Mark Harris committed crimes.

Now Mark Harris says he's too sick to continue with the hearing and the board should just call a new election
The statement just after Harris turned over a text message from his wife that shows that they were deeply integrated into McCrae Dowless' operation

I'm particularly interested in the fact that, in his statement, Harris volunteers that he is struggled with "recall and confusion" during his testimony.

It's almost like he is trying to come up with an explanation if he's caught lying

Anti-Semitism on the left not only exists, but there’s a wider group of people who are in total denial about it and dismiss any suggestion it’s there as a smear campaign.

This is completely out of order and has to be confronted and defeated.
Yes, right wing elements will always hijack, weaponise and manipulate any issue. That doesn’t mean the issue doesn’t exist.

If I start randomly punching people, right wing elements would use that against the left. That doesn’t mean I’m not randomly punching people!
You can both condemn and oppose anti-Semitism, and oppose Israel’s brutal and illegal occupation. And - and here’s a critical point - you can have a conversation about each without bringing in the other.
